ROTC Cadets Selected for the Cultural Understanding and Language Proficiency (CULP) Program

Two Cadets from UL have been selected among 1,200 Cadets nationally to travel to one of 38 different countries to be immersed in the culture and language. Junior, Portia Meyers, majoring in Child and Family Studies has been selected to travel to Panama and Sophomore, Lane Falcon, majoring in Nursing has been selected to travel to Barbados. Both Cadets will serve during the summer for 3-weeks and will gain some language skills and cultural insight.
